Like tattoos and beautiful art
but I don’t understand so much of what I’m seeing people I know post
Especially these boards people have filled up with inspiration for their future wedding
What if you never get married? Is getting married more important than the person you would be wed to?
I don’t understand
Nor the sheer amount of clothing and emphasis on “want”
Sure, the tattoos and such that I post are ones I’d love to have and such and the site’s purpose is of a pin board of inspiration
But somewhere the individual interests of one
Became the collective interests of many
And you can plan your life out
On an internet pin board.
this is probably the single most amazing thing I have ever seen.
This is why biology interests me so much I mean LOOK AT IT.
i just stared at this for the longest time.
this needs more notes.
Totally agree with the person above, this is amazing.
i watched it at least 10 times! O.o
And people ask me why I take biology? It’s FULL of natural wonders. It’s just amazing.

This theory says that there is more behind Nickelodeon’s Rugrats besides being a cute show for little kids to watch. In fact, some people are saying that the show has this whole psychological meaning behind it centering around Angelica having a psychotic break at the age of 3 after having too many traumatic accidents happen in her family at such a young age.
- All of the rugrats are a figment of Angelica’s imagination. Now that’s not so horrible by itself, but then we learn why Angelica made them up.
- Chuckie died with his mother in childbirth. This is why his dad is always so worried about him in the show.
- Tommy was stillborn, making his dad have some kind of break and sit in the basement to make toys for the son he was supposed to have.
- The DeVilles had an abortion. Angelica never found out if the baby was supposed to be a boy or a girl so she decided to make it twins. Then, she gave them matching names and personas because there probably would have been only one child if there was no abortion.
- The reason behind these delusions have been blamed on Angelica’s nonexistent relationship with her mother and her manipulative one with her father. Thus, Angelica had no one to turn to when she needed help dealing with the babies’ deaths and resorted to making up the lives they should have lived.
In All Grown Up, Angelica is a bipolar schizophrenic addicted to narcotics and heroin because they help her keep her delusions alive. At this point, we learn that Angelica’s biological mom died from a heroin overdose and Angelica’s disease because she’s a crack baby. Her real mom’s name was Cynthia, hence her doll’s name. The woman from “Rugrats” who was Angelica’s mother is really her gold-digging step-mom who Angelica idolized.
When “All Grown Up” was canceled, Angelica died of an overdose just like her mother.
Dil is the only baby who isn’t fictional. However, Angelica never accepted him as being real and accidentally hit him too hard while trying to make him go away once, resulting in brain damage. This is why he’s such an odd child in “All Grown Up.”
Suzie was actually Angelica’s friend. The theory says that she grew up to become a psychologist and joined the Nickelodeon team to invent the “Rugrats” TV show, finally explaining the origin of the theory.I remember reading this a long time ago, and it still blows my fucking mind.
ok, what the fuck? i mean this is cool and all, the idea of it, but i mean what the hell. do you really think Nickelodeon would make this shit? it really pisses me off when i see stuff like this. i mean yeah it seems logical, but what the hell people. come on. do you honestly think nickelodeon would be all “oh sure let’s make a show about a delusion girl who is fucking skitzo”
the hell
They obviously don’t make her “skitzo” or “Crazy” on the show. It’s a theory. It’s an explanation of the rugrats tv show. Seeing that you are only 12 clean up your mouth it doesn’t make you look smart.
Who cares whether it’s true or not it’s still so interesting
On my most recent video I saw a whole ton of comments from people saying “I never see pre-rolls on Vlogbrothers videos because I have AD BLOCK installed.” Well, two problems here.
- No one sees pre-rolls on vlogbrothers videos because we don’t run them
- I am not sure how I feel about Ad Blockers and I wish you would consider your decision more carefully, especially your apparent desire to share the world.
If everyone was like you and used ad blockers, there would be no Freddie Wong videos to watch. There would be no YouTube. There would be no Google or GMail or Facebook or any of it. If everyone used ad block, the internet would be made of things that suck and things that cost money.
And so when you say to the world “HEY PONCES! WTF AREN’T YOU USING AD BLOCK! SUCKERS!” What you’re saying is “Let’s all work together to destroy the internet.”
The only reason Ad Block works for you is that most people don’t use it. It is in your best interest to keep Ad Block quiet and not let anyone know about it. Spend like 13 seconds thinking through a world where Ad Block gets installed on a substantial number of browsers in the world:
Advertisers call up platforms (Google, YouTube, Facebook, etc) and say “We aren’t going to pay you for advertisements if no one sees them.”
The platforms freak out and spend a huge amount of time and money creating Ad Block Blockers. Maybe they partner with Mozilla. Maybe with the US Government. Maybe they create another technological solution. In any case, afterward the internet is clunkier and maybe even less free than beforehand.
Ad Blockers counter by working around the work-arounds.
Advertisers still pull back funds, the internet gets worse. Less money is spent on making the internet cool and interesting, more money is spend on trying to defeat Ad Blockers.
At the end of the day, your attempts to remove some pixels that were off in the corner of the screen where you probably would never have seen them anyway have made the whole world a less awesome place.
I understand the desire to work-around a system that annoys you. But I do not understand the apparent inability of some people to think their decisions through to their logical conclusion.
***FOOTNOTE ON TUMBLR***
You may notice that Tumblr neither costs money nor sucks. However, before Tumblr got it’s most recent round of venture capital funding, you may also remember how it was crashing 20 or 30 times per day. The funding that made it possible for Tumblr to stay online consistently would not have come in if the people with that money did not believe that someday Tumblr would have some kind of path to profitability…and the clearest of those paths is through advertising.
I’m reblogging this again because 90% of the comments in my new video seem to brag about AdBlock as if it’s some easy solution to the complicated role that corporations play in facilitating and problematizing the relationship between people who make stuff on the Internet and people who enjoy that stuff.
In fact, AdBlock does no such thing. It mostly only hurts the creators of the stuff you like, because it doesn’t prevent YouTube from collecting valuable information about you that they then use to grow and improve their company. If everyone—or even 20% of people—used AdBlock, we could not afford to ignore our other jobs to make regular vlogbrothers videos, let alone create expensive educational content like crashcourse.
I don’t know what the solution to this complicated problem is, but it sure as hell isn’t AdBlock.
